1. Never give out your address or phone number or any info that may lead to any passwords or secret question information on your accounts.

2. Ask them to give you their email address and do a Google search on the address.

3. Ask them their full name and do a Google search on that.

4. Never accept a check, money order or merchandise for anything.

5. If they say they are out of the country or working out of the country, they are almost always a scammer.

6. If they try to get serious to fast and seem to fall in love right away, they are almost always a scammer.
